During the late ‘40’s and early ‘50’s, the Thomson family and Sailors Family firmly planted their roots in the Kansas City Area home building scene. Their reputations in the building industry was built on outstanding customer service and attention to detail and resulted in a one of the oldest building companies in the Kansas City Metro Area.
Today, Thomson-Sailors Homes boasts active first, second and third generation builders, providing their customers a sense of security with the experience and permanence of the company along with new blood to keep up with the emerging trends of the industry.
Thomson-Sailors’ commitment to the industry is evident in the fact that three of the four principals have served as president of the Kansas City Home Builder Association during the past 30 years helping to shape the landscape of the local building industry and communities of the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area.
Through the years, the Thomson-Sailors team has been directly involved in the planning and development of many of the finer communities in Johnson County and Kansas City. Their most recent development works are Lionsgate, The Club Villas of Lionsgate, Wyngate, and Northfield Village. A drive through these communities displays the company’s attention to detail at all levels.
